weddings

times are changing

Weddings are evolving in a way I think is so incredible. They're getting more intimate and intentional and the days that this is creating are such an honor to be a part of.

After so long in the industry, I've started to make my business more intentional and intimate as well. My years are filled with couples who I fall a little in love with and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm here to make your day easy like Sunday morning. You'll find me on your dance floor at the reception, at your buffet for dinner, and at your first look making sure you both know how damn cute you are.

So bypass the wedding cake if you want to. Wear the jumpsuit. Hire the magician.

It's your day, your way.

“...We were completely happy with the results and felt we ended up with a brilliant visual documentation of our day, including the must-have shots as well as surprising ones of moments we may have missed if she had not captured them. We were thrilled with everything about Tay and would recommend her to grooms, brides, brides and grooms, and anyone planning an event that they want beautifully documented.”

Tay impressed us immediately with her enthusiastic, sincere, and professional approach to her work.

It varies. Every day is a little different. Some people have a million details and I've got other couples who are minimalists. You should expect anywhere from 50-100 images per hour.

How many photos should we expect?

A second photographer is like an insurance policy. I photograph 80% of weddings by myself. Generally I'll suggest adding a second photographer for additional coverage such as if you're getting ready in different locations, have a big ceremony space, or have over 150-200 guests. It's like having two of me.

Do you suggest a second photographer?

Just call me speedy Gonzalez. Here's my favorite part, like a magician at the end of their trick. I take on a maximum of 20 weddings a year for efficiency and personal attention for my clients. You'll always receive sneak peeks within 24 hours and wedding galleries within 3o days. Other galleries are within 14!

What's your turn-around time?

Backups on backups on backups. I bring multiple camera bodies and lenses to your session/wedding. If one goes down, there's another one shortly behind. I bring duplicates of every battery and flash as well because the show must go on. When I'm done I head home and back up to three different places.

What if your camera malfunctions during your day?

Abso-freaking-lutely. Photos with me are very laid back. Don't worry about knowing what faces to make or things like that. I will give you prompts like ways to make your partner laugh, or sentimental things that may cause a tear or two.

We don't know how to pose, will you help us?

Anyone who isn't a tech nerd, professional equipment!

Anyone who wants a little more, I shoot on two Fuji XT-5 systems with a wide variety of lenses.
My lights are all Flashpoint and I bring several to every wedding so I'm ready for anything.

What kind of equipment do you use?
